Guests say it best! And believe it or not, we don’t pay them for this love. (In fact, they paid us…) We try to include every review; most were submitted to HomeAway and AirBnb. A few were left in our guest book. No reviews are edited. Mi Casa Su Casa has never received a bad review, but if we did, we’d share it and be sure to let you know what we’ve done to make it better. Please take a look so you can book with confidence!

A few of our favorites
Ashley had so much information for us leading up to our stay and in the house. She should get a cut from the local restaurants because we tried all of her suggestions and they were great.
Casa SoCo is in a great location within walking distance of lots of restaurants and boutiques. It’s also a quick drive to Zilker Park which was great for our little ones as they have a huge playground, but would be nice for outdoor minded adults too. The house is also on a dead end street, which provided the opportunity for lots of outdoor play for our toddlers without much worry.
The house is great and is just as you see it in the pictures. We even had local friends and family over so we could catch up with everyone in one place and there was plenty of room for “entertaining” (picking up BBQ from just down the street).
Ashley was just wonderful, she made us feel like we already knew her before even arriving. She always kept in touch to ensure we had our travel plans sorted, and asked if she could be of any help before we arrived, even asked if we had any specific coffee requests. During our stay she was great at ensuring we had everything we needed. The home was just gorgeous, we all LOVED staying there…better than any hotel. I would actually say the home is better than in the photos. If you are heading to Austin…this is a place you should look at staying in. Great space, Lots of awesome resources in the home about Austin…even boardgames, and great reads for rainy days. Very Clean, Beautiful area, easy to walk to all the awesome streets…just the perfect house to be in.
Lovely funky home, fantastic hostess! We stayed 4 nights at Casa SoCo for ACL – 2 couples and 2 singles. The 4 bedroom house was a perfect set up for our group. House was clean and had all of the amenities we needed. Loved having bicycles at the house to ride all around town. Loved the little touches like bathrobes, water and glasses in each bedroom, and a welcome bottle of wine. Ashley was so helpful every step of the way and was a gracious owner. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
Lovely home, lovely host. Ash is beyond a wonderful host and Casa Soco is so delightful. The location is perfect and the house has so much love and charm. It is also very kid friendly and feel very much like a home not a house. It is even nicer than in the pictures and Ash makes herself very available. I would totally stay here agin. Thank you!
Location, location, location. This house was super cute with a hip retro vibe. The property was very wellmaintained and clean. It isi n the perfect location, close to many restaurants, bars, and shopping. The bikes were a great helpful addition. The owner was extremely helpful suggesting things to do while in Austin. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to go back soon.
Fabulous owners, perfect house, ideal location! Casa Soco was better than we could had ever imagined for our stay in Austin over the holidays! Arranging the stay couldn’t have been easier. Ashley, the owner, was very helpful with planning, provided prompt responses to all our questions and made arriving as simple as could be!
The house itself was perfect for my family- we had 4 couples so each had our own room with plenty of living and kitchen space. Bedrooms were very comfortable and we loved the supply of bathrobes and all the other iittle thoughtful ammenities (fans, extra pillows/blankets, etc) in the rooms. The kitchen and living room had plenty of seating for all 8 of us with a great table big enough to play cards and games. The kitchen also had everything we needed- coffee maker, toaster, plenty of dishes—there wasn’t a single thing we needed that wasn’t there. One thing to note is that there is no cable/satellite. That wasn’t a big issue for us since we watched network and AppleTV but there were some football games on we wished we could have accessed. The Apply Ipod radio/dock was also a great touch that we used the whole trip–though again to note that it was for the Iphone 4 and below, not the 5 plug adaptor. Outside front and back had tables and chairs and firepits in both locations. It was a bit chilly so that was perfect for us and having firewood and starters already on site made it even easier!
In summary, the owners take pride in this gorgeous and well equipped and cared for house. We greatly enjoyed our stay and being on the dead end it was peaceful, but within walking distance to SoCo was an added bonus. I highly recommend staying here as we certainly will when we go back!
