Cowboy boots?

Texas Custom Boots on S. 1st.  Owner, Noel Escobar, (super nice!) will either help you find the perfect vintage pair or handmake your own design.

Where to get your groceries, beer & wine:

Casa SoCo

All links include directions from Casa SoCo

HEB is walking distance and will have everything you need, including beer and wine.  There is quite a large fresh produce section, plenty of organic choices along with the HEB brand items.  2400 S Congress Ave  Open 6 a.m. to 1 a.m.  (3 minute drive, 15 minute walk)

For better wine selection, my favorite is the Austin Wine Merchant on W. 6th, parking is available.  (10 minute drive)

Whole Foods Flagship store is just after the Austin Wine Merchant.  There is a parking lot, 525 N. Lamar (12 minute drive)

For the most amazing beer selection, head to the WhipIn.  Top tip: they often have a dj on the patio in the evning and the Indian food (small menu, changes daily) is really, really good.  Very good wine selection as well.  Little bar inside also.

Casa Roja

Another HEB is around the corner and will have everything you need, including beer and wine.  There is quite a large fresh produce section, plenty of organic choices along with the HEB brand items.  2701 E 7th St  Open 6 a.m. to 12 p.m.  (5 minute drive)

Here are directions to the Whole Foods if you want to go that route.

Basic liquor store nearby is J&J Spirits.  You'll have a lot more selection at long-time, local chain, Twin Liquors on 519 E 7th St.
